G Cole moved to South Florida from Ocho Rios Jamaica in 1997 intending to study law, that was until he was bitten by the music bug. He has written for artists; Singing Melody, Selena Serrano, Sheyla Dow, and J Will. His debut album “This Music Vol 1. Return To Vintage” was released in 2007. In 2013 he returned with the album “Ocho Rios” led by the singles “Make up”, “When I” and the title track “Ocho Rios”. He, along with “The Wraps and Kush Band” has shared the stage with artists such as Ziggy, Stephen, & Damian Marley, Gentleman, Sizzla, Capleton, Etana, Jill Scott, Third World, Inner Circle, Seel Pulse, Diana Ross, Billy Ocean, etc.
In 2017 G Cole took a break from the stage to pursue another passion, “Podcasting”. He developed.
the podcast “Homegrown With G Cole” a platform for the community, and lovers of Reggae and Jamaican culture. On his platform he has dialoged with Freddie McGregor, Marcia Griffiths, Bobby Digital Dixon, VP Records Co-Founder Mrs. Pat Chin, Nadine Sutherland and many more. It is available on iTunes, Spotify, TuneIn, IHeartRadio and more.
In 2019 G Cole was urged by Producer Donald Clive Davidson of Aquagem Records to return to the studio. The result was “What Love Is”, a remake of a Nicky Thomas classic, originally recorded as “Love Is” by Ben E King. It’s a fun, upbeat, interpretation that still emotes nostalgia from start to finish. Fresh off the success of that single, G Cole followed up with the vibrant "This Thing Called Reggae Music", a sweet and colorful song that takes Reggae and Dancehall lovers for a nice ride.
2020 starts out for G Cole with the release of the single "Daughters”, and in November 2021, he released the single "Have You Seen Her" on the Hush Riddim and ended the year with the release of his first Christmas song, called "It's Christmas". He is currently readying his 4th studio album from which three singles have already been released, "Peace Of Mind Is A Holiday", “I Know Your Story” and the Latin flavored “She Said”, which has been getting excellent reviews worldwide.
